An idea born from a promise of love, made by a caring husband and passionate foodie to his wife at the beginning of their marriage: “Darling, I can promise you one thing: you will never be hungry!” A unique decor. An award-winning restaurant.
Details that are as interesting as they are unusual and funny: from the sheep that is your drinking companion, to the comic reproductions of Botero’s works. At first glance, the decor may seem too busy, but you’ll get used to it quickly. The atmosphere is pleasant. You will find romance in the chandeliers, authenticity in the fabrics and divine taste on the plate.
Looking at the menu, you wonder what to choose: traditional dishes or Italian specialities, dishes prepared according to old recipes from Pirot or a combination of the most delicious dishes from Florence. Lorenzo & Kakalamba Restaurant serves Laudemio Frescobaldi olive oil and Leonardi balsamic vinegar with every meal. Everything sounds great, so it was quite difficult to decide. I admit: it rarely happens to us. We chose the veal shank with potato garnish and the Kakalamba pizza. Traditional and Italian. The meat was tender, bathed in spices that gave it a divine taste, and the pizza was as good as at home.In addition to other awards, Lorenzo & Kakalamba Restaurant received a prestigious Ambassador Luce recognition from the Luce Della Vite Tuscan Wine House. In Eastern Europe, only 4 Ambassador Luce awards were given, the remaining 36 awards were given to restaurants around the world, from Los Angeles to Tokyo.
